I changed my router and needed to update the SSID and password on my HP P1102w. I attempted to run the wireless utility but I wasn't "allowed" to run the program even though I'm logged in to my Windows 10 computer as an administrator. After a number of unsuccessful attempts, I uninstalled the printer and software to attempt a clean install. After downloading the drivers and software (CD equivalent), and extracting them, they will not run. After extracting the software NOTHING happens. No window open, nothing is running in the task mananger. This is extremely frustrating. The computer has worked flawlessly for years until I had to make this network change.
I connected the printer using the USB cable, and it doesn't get recognized to perform any tasks. Nothing at all. The troubleshooter is useless.
I held the buttons on the top while powering up to clear all the settings, tried everythign again and nothing.
Nothing runs, connects and cannot be managed. None of the HP software fixes the problem, as the printer cannot be recognized. Computers were restarted, network settings checked, still nothing.
Any suggestions? I'm about to throw this printer out the window and never by an HP product again if I can't get this resovled soon.

Hi,
From File Explorer browse to C:\LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution and double click HpSetup.exe, then follow the steps on screen to reconfigure a wireless connection.

Thank you for your help and response. This solution worked perfectly and was so simple to follow. Thanks to this forum my favorable opinion of HP has been restored, but it's unfortunate that the printer had to remain out of service for so long.
