I have a Windows 10 PC and suddenly it stopped printing via USB to the HP Color MultiJet CM1312 MFP, even though I had been printing to it. I reinstalled the pcl6-usb-x64-7.2.0.25780 printer driver, but I could not connect the printer. I tried to run the program HPEasyStart_16_7_5.exe, but even it could not find the switched-on printer via USB (the printer does not offer another connection option). To rule out possible causes of the error, I installed the driver on the laptop, which also has Windows 10, and connected the laptop to the printer with the same USB cable. The printer installation went well, the printer printed normally. This showed me that the printer and the USB cable are fine and the error is somewhere in the PC. The interesting thing is that I can scan through the printer, but I can't print. I tried 3 different USB ports on the PC always with the same result. Please advise what could be causing the PC not to see the printer. Thank you for your reply.
