Just tried to contact Tech Support, only to find out they area available Monday through Friday 9am to 8pm EST.  People DO have issues at night and on the weekends.  P*$$ poor customer service.

@AUTiger2,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

I understand your frustration. Discovering that live technical support is unavailable when you actually need it -particularly in the evening or on a weekend- is certainly inconvenient.

The good news is that you do not necessarily have to wait for a telephone support representative before getting help.

The HP Support Community is a peer-to-peer forum, so questions can be posted here at any time. Other users and HP Community Experts may be able to help even when HP's telephone agents are unavailable.

For the DeskJet 4255e, HP also currently provides a Virtual Assistant and printer diagnostic tools through the product's official support page, which are available outside the telephone support schedule.

HP's current support pages also provide options for contacting HP Support and checking the printer's warranty/service information.

So, rather than waiting for the phone line to reopen, please post what is actually happening with your DeskJet 4255e -for example, the error message, what you were trying to do, and what happens when you try it.

We'll see whether we can troubleshoot the problem here!

Kind Regards,
