I have tried everything suggested - make sure paper size matches, reset printer etc and I keep getting the Paper Size Mismatch error. I even tried test printing from the printer and get the same error.

Hi @Jlchase26,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The "Paper Size Mismatch" error on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e can be frustrating. Here are a few additional steps you might try to resolve this issue.

Check Paper Tray Settings:

  • Make sure the paper size setting on the printer matches the paper loaded in the tray. Go to the printer's control panel, navigate to the settings for paper size, and confirm it matches the actual paper size.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Sometimes, firmware updates can resolve such issues. Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer and apply it if needed.

Reset Printer Settings:

  • Perform a factory reset on the printer. This will revert all settings to their default state, which might resolve the paper size mismatch error.

Check Printer Software:

  • Ensure the printer driver installed on your computer matches the printer model and is up-to-date. Sometimes, reinstalling or updating the driver can resolve communication issues.

Check Paper Guides:

  • Make sure the paper guides in the tray are properly aligned with the paper. If they are too tight or too loose, it can cause paper size errors.

Test Different Paper Sizes:

  • Try printing on a different paper size that you know is correctly set in both the printer and the computer. Sometimes, the issue might be specific to a particular paper size.

Check for Software Conflicts:

  • Ensure no other software or printer management tools are interfering with the print job. Close any unnecessary applications that might be causing conflicts.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
