Since we purchased the printer I have not been able to get the password to login as an administrator

 

I am currently in need to change some settings for networking and am stuck.  I have read articles that tell me there is no default words ect...   I have tried admin/admin, admin/password, admin/(no password) even NPI5B0AC instead of admin.

How can I get into the configuration of the printer.

Se você esqueceu a senha do EWS ou outra pessoa a digitou sem você saber, a única maneira de resolver seu problema é realizar uma reinicialização a frio do dispositivo.

AVISO: Isso removerá qualquer uma das configurações feitas nesse dispositivo e as reverterá para o estado de fábrica. Isso inclui configurações de rede, configurações de bandeja e praticamente tudo o que você fez no dispositivo desde que o comprou.

 

Para executar o Cold Reset no M602, faça o seguinte:

 

1. Ligue o produto.

2. Pressione obotão Parar até que os LEDs Ready , Data e Attention fiquem acesos.

3. Use obotão de seta para baixo para realçar Administrador e pressione o botão OK .

4. Vá até o item Opções de inicialização e pressione o botão OK .

5. Vá até o item Cold Reset e pressione o botão OK .

6. Pressione o botão Voltar duas vezes para realçar Continuar e pressione o botão OK .

The information you have read is correct; There are no default passwords.

 

Which settings are you attempting to change or gain access to?

Can you print a Menu Map from the device and post a picture for reference?

 

 

If you are using the device as a Network Printer, you can access the EWS via the IP address of the device and change settings as needed.

 

 

 

The best option if a password has been set incorrectly/erroneously, is to perform a full reset.

 

This can be accessed through the Preboot Menu.

 

WARNING: All previous settings will be lost once performing this reset.
