My printer is fairly new. Just bought it last month. after a few good prints, i got a printhead error. The tip on support worked long enough to print 1 document before recurring. last document printed was smeared with blue ink and now the error won'tgo away even after doing the troubleshooting procedures repeatedly. I can't take my printer to an HP shop due to the current ECQ protocols. What can I do...it keeps saying Pen in left chute has error (6). and the part Dx Lxx exxx/xxx: 3404/3404
T01 all the way to T28 has ?? all over
I don't really know what they mean but these are the main differences I noticed from when the troubleshooting worked to now when the troubleshooting doesn't work no matter how many times i redo it.

Hi @Annie_Jaypee,
If you have already performed the steps from the document An 'Incompatible' or 'Ink Cartridges Missing' Error Message Displays and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Hope this helps!
