Photosmart C4180

 I cannot add my Photosmart C4180 to my HP profile because the website keeps responding "Please enter a valid serial number" eventhough  I have entered it exactly as it appears.

This is probably because a Photosmart C4180 is a 10 years old product, and HP decided to move to retirement older products.

What cartridges are compatible with the Photosmart C4180?  Where might I buy them?

Now the question is, if you check the price of the two Photosmart cartridges you can see that some new Deskjet and Smart Tank printers are almost the same amount than those 2 cartridges.

• For example some Smart Tanks 5100 printer models goes around $160 and the Ink included in the printer allows you to print almost 4,000 pages.

Simply choose the best option for your budget. 😊

I have a new HP all-in-one Envy laptop.  I cannot load the driver for the Photosmart C4180 on the computer from the disc and I cannot get help from the HP site because it says my model number/serial number is invalid.  Just for fun I tried the serial number for my decades old Laser Jet 2200 and it also said invalid number on the HP site.  However on my new Lenovo it shows a driver for the Laser Jet 2200, but not on the Envy.

So apparently HP does not support its own products.  Nevertheless I want to install the Photosmart C4180 on the Envy.  Any hope?
