Hi @Johnanth,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP ENVY 6000 All-in-One Printer is printing too large when you send documents from your Android phone, it may be due to settings in the printing app or your phone’s print size settings. Here are some steps to troubleshoot.

Check Print Settings in the Print App:

HP Smart App (if you're using it):

  1. Open the HP Smart app on your Android phone.
  2. Select the document or photo you want to print.
  3. Tap the Print option, then tap the gear icon (or the settings icon) to adjust print size, paper size, or scaling.
  4. Ensure the Scale or Fit to Page setting is correct. You may need to choose "Fit to Page" to avoid oversizing.

Default Android Print Option:

  1. Go to the Print dialog (usually appears when you select print from an app like Photos, Google Docs, etc.).
  2. Check the print options for Paper Size (make sure it matches the paper in the printer, like A4 or Letter).
  3. Check the Scaling or Page Setup. Make sure the document is set to "Fit" or adjust the scaling to 100%.

Check for App-Specific Print Settings:

If you’re printing from specific apps like Google Drive, Microsoft Word, or a photo gallery, each may have its own print settings. Be sure to review the app's print options.

Adjust Print Settings from Android Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Connected devices > Printing > Default Print Service or HP Print Service Plugin.
  • Check for options like paper size, page layout, or print quality. Make sure the size matches your document and printer setup.

Update Firmware and Software:

  • Ensure both your HP ENVY 6000 All-in-One Printer and your HP Smart or Android print services are updated to the latest versions. This can sometimes resolve formatting issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
