Just got a used HP Envy Photo 7858 but it can't find wifi or blue tooth, it just keeps searching. I reset network settings, my computer, my phone, my router and hard reset the printer. DSL works if I plug in to the router. Yes, wireless is turned on. HP Smart app can't find it. Test results say wireless is disabled.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It sounds like the wireless functionality on your HP Envy Photo 7858 might be disabled at a hardware level or there could be a firmware issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check Wireless Radio Settings
- On the printer's control panel, go to Setup > Network Setup > Wireless Settings.
- Look for an option to Enable Wireless and make sure it is turned on.
Run Wireless Network Test
- From the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Reports > Wireless Test Report.
- This will print a report showing the status of the wireless connection.
Manually Assign an IP Address
- Connect your printer to your computer via USB.
- Open HP Smart or HP Print and Scan Doctor to check network settings.
- If the wireless function is disabled, try enabling it from the software.
Update Printer Firmware
- Visit HP Support and check for firmware updates for your printer model.
- Install the latest firmware and restart the printer.
Check Router Settings
- Ensure your router is set to 2.4 GHz (some HP printers do not support 5 GHz).
- Disable MAC address filtering or add your printer's MAC address to the allowed list.
Factory Reset the Printer
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Restore Factory Defaults.
- After resetting, set up the wireless connection again.
I hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
