Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When trying to print a return address on an envelope using Microsoft Word, which I have done hundreds of times before correctly, several characters are cut off.  It will only start printing about 3/4" from the left side, cutting off several letters of the address.  I don't receive any print errors.  I have done a print alignment, as well as cleaned the printhead.  Other than trying to print the envelope, the printer operates perfectly.  Any help will be sincerely appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

@Darzie

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

Reset the product:

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  3. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  4. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  5. Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  6. Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Try and update, if the issue persists try the below steps.

Try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
