Hi @RoguestormiE,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are trying to print a tiled PDF (poster-size) with the HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e using the HP Smart app on an Android phone, follow these steps:

1. Prepare the PDF for Tiling

  • Ensure that the PDF you want to print is designed for tiling (poster printing). Tiling means breaking the document into smaller sections that can be printed on standard paper sizes and later assembled into a larger image.

2. Use a PDF Editing App (if necessary)

  • If your PDF isn’t already tiled, you may need to use a PDF editor or a specialized app to divide the large image into smaller sections. Some PDF readers (like Adobe Acrobat on desktops) offer options for tiling, but Android apps may have limitations.

3. Open HP Smart App HP printer setup (HP Smart app)

  • Ensure that your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e is set up and connected to the HP Smart app on your Android device.
  • Open the HP Smart app.

4. Select the PDF for Printing

  • In the HP Smart app, select Print Documents.
  • Browse for the tiled PDF file you want to print.

5. Print Settings (Tiled/Poster)

  • The HP Smart app does not natively support poster/tiled printing. However, there are workarounds:
    • Use PDF Viewer apps that support tiled printing or Google Chrome on Android to open the PDF and print with custom page sizes and settings.
    • Another option is to use third-party apps like Adobe Acrobat Reader on your phone and find options like "Poster" printing under print settings.

6. Adjust Print Settings in HP Smart (Alternative)

  • Custom Print Sizes: If possible, select custom paper sizes in the HP Smart app that correspond to each tile’s dimensions.
  • If using a third-party app like Google Chrome or Adobe Acrobat, ensure each tile is printed at 100% scale without shrinking.

7. Print the Document

  • After setting up the tiles, print the pages. The printer will print individual sections, which you can then align and assemble to create the larger poster.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
