HP Color Laser 150nw

Hi 

 

I have a 150nw and it's been working flawlessly for ages and then suddenly it just stops. I've tried all the hard reset procedures I can find. 

 

It's getting power as the indicator light turns on when you push the power button but nothing else happens. none of the other buttons respond to input and it doesn't show at all on the network despite being connected via cable. 

 

Any ideas?

Are any of the status led's working?  Page 15 of the user manual shows some options you can try:

 

Hold down the resume button for 10 or 15 seconds and see if you can get any of the status reports

 

• Configuration sheet & Network Configuration sheet
- Press and hold this button for about 10 seconds until the
power LED blinks slowly, and release.
• Prints supplies info report / error report
- Press and hold this button for about 15 seconds until the
blue power LED blinks rapidly and release

Only the power indicator lights up and only when pressed. No sounds of startup or anything. No flashing of any of the other lights. 

 

Nothing happens  when I try the button presses.  When I go to the support sites I get directed through all of the procedures I've been trying all morning and there's no actual way to contact anyone in support at all. 

 

Is it just dead? 

 

HP Recommended

Try disconnecting power from wall outlet.  Press the power button a few times and then re-connect the power

 

Make sure toner(s) are inserted properly and all panels are closed.  There might be a safety switch not allowing full power because something is not closed properly.

 

 

If still not working you may have to wait a few days depending on your location for service to resume and you can get a repair quote.
