Hi.Last week I bought a new printer .It worked for a while and a few days ago a error appear ,,Power surge on USB port".
I tried already to update the usb drivers from device manger but still doesn't work.I even tried to conect the printer to other pc and still the same thing.
I have to mention that I have conected to my pc other usb devices and they work just fine.
Could the usb conection cable be the problem?

@Ali39238, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
This could be an issue with the USB port on the printer. Let us try these steps:
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Update the printer firmware

Try connecting the printer using a good known USB cable to a PC. Check if it detected by the PC.
Note: Do not use a USB hub
