Product: HP LaserJet Professional M1212nf MFP
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

I do not know an easy way to obtain the printer driver for an HP LaserJet Professional M1212nf MFP for my Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode computer.  The printer software containing the printer drivers from hp.com will not run on my Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode computer.  If the software was on the Microsoft Store, I would be able the run the printer software.  HP Smart from the Microsoft Store seems to install fine, but it may be saying I need to add the printer in Windows Settings before I am able to use the HP Smart program.  I had the same computer before I exchanged it for a non damaged one and I think I was able to use the HP Smart program to connect to and run the multi-function printer before using the HP Smart program.

Your printer have built-in drivers and is compatible with Windows 10 in S mode as listed below:

You may follow below steps to install your printer:

As I can see, your printer is not likely to be supported by HP Smart, likely only print functionality will work.
