My printer purchased on Feb 2022 was consistently showing E4 error and I got in touch with Orarega Technologies , the HP service agent for Mumbai. Their engineer after checking the printer informed me that the problem was with the paper sensor and advised that the part be replaced which would cost me about Rs. 7000.00. After I paid for the parts, another engineer came in today and replaced them. The E4 error has gone, but the printer is now showing a print head problem for both the black & the color cartridges. The engineer adivsed that I now need to change the print head and possibly the print head carriage too for which I would need to pay about Rs. 10,000. The printer cost me about Rs. 18,000. I have already spent Rs. 7,000 for the E4 error rectification. Another Rs. 10,000 I thnk is not prudent. The engineer who first came in did not hint at all about the possibility of the print head and/or the carriage being defectve. Makes me wonder whether this is a big rip off or is it unqualfied technicians being let free to learn at the expense of customers or is it a design problem. I plan to move legally, so seek views of people who have had similar experience-Thanks
