Hi Y'all.

When I print a page from Chrome browser,  the browser's print dialog gives me the option of scaling the output, say at 100% or 37% (if were so inclined). Not so MS-Word (unless that option is hiding under the haystack of print options) or many other Windows applications.

I am looking for way to control scaling of the print output via the driver dialog box.  I'm ot talking about the fixed scale-down like when I print 2-up.  But if I want the printer to print my output at 77% of actual size I appear to be out of luck.

Am I as out of luck on this issue as I fear?  (Admittedly, there are greater concerns to fear in life but that's out of scope here. 😉

Thanks for help here.

The printer software is as you find it - there are not "hidden" methods to add settings you cannot find.

That said, if all you want to do is to print a Word document at a given scale - percentage of 100%,

Export the Word document to PDF format.

Open the PDF file in Adobe Reader DC

Adjust the options, including the settings that control the Size >> Custom Scale

Sample...

Print PDF File

Example - Adobe Reader DC  - Main Print Menu

Open document in Reader DC

Click the print icon...

Adjust the settings on the main menu

Click Properties to select the Shortcut and add the paper size

Click OK to save the changes and exit the Properties menu

Back on the main print menu, when ready, click Print

Example - Adobe Reader DC  - PDF Print > Main Print Menu
