Hi everyone!
I have never posted anything here, I'm doing it today because I was unable to solve the issue by myself.
I have a Samsung Xpress C480W multifunction printer/scanner. It has been working well for a few years.
Now, I have this new Macbook Air (2017 version) with Mac Os Catalina (10.15) installed and I am unable to print from this computer to the C480W.
I tried installing the latest drivers from the HP drivers support website (2019-12-11 for print, 2020-01 for scan). I can now use the scanner, either directly from the "Capture" apple application or by lauching "Scan" form the Mac os system settings printing section related to the printer.
However, I can not manage to print my documents (either from Word, Chrome, Safari, Preview, ...).
When I try to print, the printer starts outputting tens of almost empty pages (white pages) except for one or more few lines filled with garbage characters.
I tried resinstalling the drivers many times, tried to reset the printing system on macos, to no avail.
Can you help me find the solution to this issue?
Thank you very much!

Hello everyone,
Today I noticed that instead of the old separated scanning/printing bash scripts given by HP, the C480W printer has a new unique driver (.dmg file) updated on the 28th of february.
I just installed it and it seems to have fixed my broken ****ing printer which has not been able to print anything since Catalina update a few months ago.
I won't congratulate the HP team on such a feat because I have to wait a bit longer to see whether this fix is real or imaginary.
I hope everyone can have their printers fixed thanks to this.
