HP Officejet Pro K550 Color Printer
macOS 10.13 High Sierra

I'm looking for a printer driver for my HP Officejet Pro K550.  My operating system is OS 10.13.6.  It was running well until today when I replace the Magenta ink after it indicated it was empty (genuine new HP cartridge too!).  It's saying that it's still low, but my printer is not connected.  I uninstalled it and then tried to reinstall it, which, I think it much of the cause of my problems.

I'd appreciate any suggestions for getting my printer (which I really love) running again.

Hi @Kay-Jay-Ess,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Officejet Pro K550 Color Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

The operating system does not support the printer as it is only limited to 10.6. The printer does not support Apple AirPrint as well, so the only option would be to use it via e-print service.

To use the e-print service, you may refer to this document: HP printers - Print with HP ePrint

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
