I am giving my old Mac desktop running Mac OS Monterrey 12.3.1 to my Granddaughter. They have an HP Photosmart C4780 laser jet printer but there are no drivers for the operating system. When I look on the HP site there are no new drivers for Mac Monterrey. Where do I download the drivers for this operating system?

Hi @Illinibird
First download and install the HP Printer drivers for MacOS from the next link:
Then go to Preferences > Printers then Add the printer, follow the steps from the next video:

I was able to install the printer to the iMac using the USB cable and the printer and scanner work flawlessly. Then I tried to add the printer as a networked printer using Wi-Fi and was not suceesful doing that. I can turn the Wi-Fi on the printer but I cannot configure it to join the Wi-Fi Gateway from Xfinity or connect the printer to the computer with Wi-Fi only if the USB is disconnected. I want the printer available on Wi-Fi so that all the iPhones and iPads in the house can print to it wirelessly.
So my next hurdle is how do I get the printer to connect via Wi-Fi to her gateway (currently connected via USB to the computer)? I do not have the original installation disk that came with it and when I tried two different programs from HP it didn't work either. What am I doing wrong? I have an HP Envy 5660 at home and it is connected via Wi-Fi to my iMac and all the other iPhones/iPads here at home and I had no trouble doing this using the control window of the printer setting it up and configuring it as a networked connection to my gateway. Is there a program that walks me through this for the older printer at my daughter's house (the C4780) because I cannot configure the printer in it's control window to her gateway?
