Envy 7645
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Win 10 PC HP Envy 7645 goes offline.  Now can not print at all from PC.  I have updated Driver's; updated Printer firmware; deleted printspool files, put static IP on printer & made sure range was not in DHCP Pool.  Removed Printer and Drivers from PC. Opened Ports in Firewall on PC.    Turned off IPv6; Turned on IPV6.

If I go to Browser and connect to printer via current static IP address, I can print Test Pages from the Printer.

If I send test page from Win10 PC, it goes to print queue, and then disappears from Printqueue, but never prints on printer.

I have tried HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.3.1, again print test page, which goes to queue and than disappears, but not print out on Printer.  There are no other printers.

Anybody can please help me

Hi @Pax5,

I'd like to help with the printer connectivity issue.

Restart print spooler-

  • 1. Turn off the printer using the power button and then unplug the printer power cord from the power outlet.

  • 2. In Windows, search for and open Services .

  • 3. In the Services window, right-click Print Spooler, and then select Stop .

Service window the Print Spooler service selected from the Name list and the Stop selection called out.

  • 4. After the service stops, close the Services window.

  • 5. In Windows, search for and open C:WindowsSystem32SpoolPRINTERS.

  • 6. Delete all files in the PRINTERS folder.

  • 7. Shut down your computer.

  • 8. Connect the printer power cord to the power outlet, and then turn on the printer

  • Check-in services if the Print Spooler service automatically starts

Connect the printer to TCP/IP port- follow the below instructions-

--->Touch on the wifi icon ((i)) on the printer, and take down the IP address

a. Click Start/Devices and Printers.  Right-click on your HP Printer.  Select Printer Properties.  Select the Ports tab at the top.

b.    Select Add Port.  Select Standard TCP/IP Port.  Select New Port.

c.    Follow the Add Port Wizard.  Under Printer Name or IP Address, .  Example:  192.168.1.15.  The IP address will be copied under Port Name.

d.    Select Next and Finish the Wizard.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
