I work in the IT department for my company. I handle in-person as well as remote setup/support issues. I have come across three instances lately with the PIN printed on the sticker inside the service access door has an incorrect PIN number according to the setup. All three situations were straight out of the box and are now restricted in setup capacity. This has happened twice with the MFP 4301 fdw and now I have come across the same issue with a 4101. We employ a large number of printers across the country and cannot lose configuration control. Please advise of a work-a-round while staying on the wired network. Wireless is not an option.

As these are new products I suggest that you open a case at support.hp.com. This forum is a user to user support forum and is not directly viewed by HP tech staff. If there is an issue like this, HP engineering cannot fix it if they do not know about it. I have escalated you post to the moderators.
I am a volunteer, offering my knowledge to support fellow users, I do not work for HP nor speak for HP.
