Hi @AshleyDionae,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you need to connect your HP DeskJet 4152e All-In-One Printer to Wi-Fi without using a Wi-Fi router or directly without a password, you can set up a Wi-Fi Direct connection. Here's how you can do it.
- Turn on the printer and make sure it's in a ready state.
- On your printer's control panel, locate and press the "Wi-Fi Direct" or "Wireless Direct" button. This button might be represented by a Wi-Fi icon or have the printer's name next to it.
- The printer will start broadcasting its own Wi-Fi network. You should see the printer's name (SSID) on your mobile device's Wi-Fi list. Connect to this network.
- Once connected, you can open the HP Smart app on your phone or tablet (if you don't have it, download it from your app store).
- In the HP Smart app, select the option to add a new printer.
- The app should detect your HP DeskJet 4152e printer on the Wi-Fi Direct network. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
- During the setup process, you may be prompted to enter a password or PIN. This password or PIN should be displayed on the printer's control panel. It's typically an 8-digit number. Enter it when prompted.
- After entering the PIN, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. Once the connection is established, your mobile device should be able to print to the printer without needing your regular Wi-Fi network.
Please note that the exact steps and options may vary slightly depending on your printer's firmware version and the version of the HP Smart app you're using.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
