Attempting to install an HP OJ Pro 9020 for one of my Users, but during driver installation the printer is stating that the printer is password protected and then prompts for an ID and password to continue. We have no idea what the password is. From what we can tell it is a brand new printer, so there shouldn't be a printer password assigned.
We have followed the directions to factory reset, but the password prompt returns during driver installation process.
There aren't instructions in the documentation or publicly available on how to nuke the printer's password. This is the first time I have seen this for one of our printers. Does anyone have the instruction on how wipe the password from the printer?
