Hi @PeggieD
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It sounds like your HP printer is recognized by Windows 11 but isn't processing print jobs. Here are some steps to troubleshoot:
1. Restart the Print Spooler Service
- Press Win + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter.
- Scroll down to Print Spooler, right-click, and select Restart.
- Try printing again.
2. Check Default Printer Settings
- Open Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Ensure your HP printer is set as the default printer.
3. Clear the Print Queue
- Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your printer and select See what's printing.
- If there are stuck jobs, click Cancel All Documents.
4. Reinstall the Printer Driver
- Uninstall the printer from Device Manager.
- Download the latest driver from HP’s official site here.
- Install and reconnect the printer.
