Printer can't finish setup

So after resetting multiple times trying various methods the printer setup won't finish which won't allow me to update the printer. I now have a useless piece of plastic sitting on my shelf as I can't use it for anything. Also trying to get support or help for this issue has been a joke. The printer Is now switched on connected but the not so smart app says it's offline. What is the score.
