I have just bought this printer from Costco a few weeks ago. At first it was great, and then all of sudden about a week ago, the printer consistently states "Paper Tray Low, or Printer Tray Empty". I have turned off the printer then turned it back on. I have reset it back to factory settings and redid the set up. I have installed and uninstalled the HPSmart system on my computer. I have added and un-added the pinter to my computer. I have taken out Tray 2 all they way and checked for stuck paper. I have opened every thing I can open to look for a jam. I have taken the paper out, moved the guides, put it back, moved the guides again. I have set the guides manually on the printer. LITERALLY NOTHING WORKS.  I am at a loss and will be returning this $400 printer if someone cannot help me! Please anything you can give me! I am on an  iMac Sonoma 14.6.1. Thanks in advance!

I have the same printer, same issue, except I got mine from Amazon.  Neither Amazon or HP will replace it.  So I am stuck with a $500 paper weight.

I was able to return it to Costco and got a new one that works great! I did notice though that mine was under warranty before I returned it to Costco. Do you know if yours is still under Warranty?  HP said they would take it from me and give me a new one if Costco wouldn't take it back!
