Hi @BJ54a,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're encountering an error message stating that your HP Deskjet 4155e printer is blocked, there could be a few reasons for this. Here's what you can try to resolve the issue.
- Check for Paper Jams: Sometimes, even a small piece of paper stuck inside the printer can trigger a "blocked" error. Open the printer's access door and check for any paper jams. If you find any, carefully remove them.
- Restart the Printer: Turn off your printer, wait for a few moments, and then turn it back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve minor glitches.
- Check for Ink or Toner Cartridge Issues: If your printer uses ink or toner cartridges, ensure they are properly installed and have sufficient ink or toner. If a cartridge is empty or improperly installed, it can cause the printer to show errors.
- Clear Print Queue: Sometimes, a print job that's stuck in the queue can cause issues. Clear the print queue on your computer by canceling any pending print jobs.
- Update Printer Drivers: Make sure your printer drivers are up to date. Visit the HP website and download the latest drivers for your printer model.
- Reset the Printer: If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting your printer to its factory settings. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.
By going through these steps, you should hopefully be able to resolve the "blocked" error on your HP DeskJet 4155e printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
