Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Cartridge Problem: One or More Cartridges Damaged! 

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.  

  

If you see a message that indicates one or more cartridges appear to be damaged, follow the steps below to resolve the issue:

Cause:

Poor electrical contact between the cartridge and printer, or the cartridges are damaged.

Solution:

Remove and Reinsert Cartridges:

  • Open the printer's cartridge access door.
  • Remove the indicated cartridge(s).
  • Reinsert the cartridges, ensuring they are correctly installed.

Clean Electrical Contacts:

  • Use a lint-free cloth to gently wipe the electrical contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer. Clean Electrical Contacts

Replace Defective Cartridges:

  • If the message persists, replace the indicated cartridge(s) with new, genuine HP cartridges.
