Hello, I have a HP Officejet 3830 all in one printer. For the last few months I had problems with it printing, until today - I cannot print neither from my laptop or smartphone. I can see my printer status as connected and ready to print, however when I click to print I keep getting the message (on my laptop) that the printer is in error state. I have tried to print both word and pdf files - neither is printed. On my phone, I either see that my printer is not available, or it is just not printing when I click on print. I have tried everything - uninstall and reinstall the apps, the drivers, I tried the HP scan and print doctor - which did not fix the issue, but determined that there is probably a problem with my printer software ( and again, asking to reinstall the apps/drivers, which I did again - to no result). On my printer itself everything looks fine, says "ready to print", connected to the internet, etc. I really don't know what else to do and I really need to be able to print as soon as possible, so if there is someone who can help me with this issue - please, I am begging you at this point!
PS: I have a WIndows 10, but did not have an update.

@Danel91, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
First, try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.
- Make sure the printer and the PC/phone are connected to the same wireless network.
- This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. So, the PC/phone should be on the 2.4GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
- Restart the wireless router, the printer and the PC. Try printing.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver/connectivity issues
Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.
If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
If the printer is still not connected to the wireless network,
On the printer screen, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore network settings
Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network.
Use the HP Smart app to print and scan from your Win PC and Phone
Click here to download and know more about the app.
Try printing.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
