I haven’t used my printer in a few months because I no longer needed to use it on a daily basis. When I went to use it, I turned it on and it said that I needed to enroll in HP ink (I am already enrolled) and then it goes to print the alignment page but it doesn’t do anything. I have a HP Officejet 9010 Please someone help!

Hi @Britifft727,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP Officejet 9010 might be experiencing some issues related to its ink enrollment process and alignment. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem.

  • Restart the Printer: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve temporary issues. Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • Check Ink Cartridges: Ensure that your ink cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient ink levels. Sometimes, an incorrectly installed or low ink cartridge can cause alignment issues.
  • Check for Paper Jams: Make sure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the printer's paper path. Even a small piece of paper stuck in the printer can prevent it from printing properly.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model on the HP website. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve compatibility issues and improve printer performance.
  • Reset the Printer: Try performing a factory reset on your printer to restore it to its default settings. Instructions for resetting your specific model can usually be found in the printer's user manual or on the HP website.
  • Check Network Connection: Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your computer or network. If you're using a wireless connection, try reconnecting the printer to your Wi-Fi network or using a wired connection instead.
  • Reinstall Printer Drivers: Sometimes corrupted printer drivers can cause printing issues. Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the printer drivers on your computer.

By following these steps, you should hopefully be able to resolve the issue with your HP Officejet 9010 printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
