Hi there,
I am trying to print some floral patterns which I have painted. The background of them are transparent. I would like to print onto A5 paper. It is working but the printer is leaving a white gap at the bottom of the paper. All the measurements are correct as in the size of the digital file is the same as he A5 paper size. I have even tried with the boarderless printing, it is still leaving a white gap at the bottom. I have installed HP Smart on my laptop but it isn't giving any option to download any new driveres which may help the printing
Even when I try to print 2 a5 pieces onto an a4 page it isn't lining up or filling the page

Hi @Gurpreet9,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are facing an issue with your Print quality HP OfficeJet Pro 9019e All-In-One, Printer leaving a gap at the bottom of the paper. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
Printer margins
Print Margin Bottom (A4)3.0 mm
Print Margin Left (A4)3.0 mm
Print Margin Right (A4)3.0 mm
Print Margin Top (A4)3.0 mm and
Borderless PrintingYes (up to 8.5 x 11 in, 216 x 297 mm)
If you are printing an image at "actual size" and the shape and size of the image does not exactly fit the shape and size of the paper, the results will show gap(s) (white border) on one or more sides of the paper.
Much has to do with the (unknown) software / application you are using, the paper you are using, and the settings used to prepare the job for the printer.
What else?
If you have not done so, download-save-install the Full Feature Software for the printer
HP Easy Start Printer Setup Software
About 2/3 of the way through the setup, you will be given the opportunity to select the software - select the "Full" driver set (as opposed to the basic driver).
After the software is installed, Restart the computer and log in.
Full driver provides print and scan functions (even if HP Smart continues to be stubborn).
==========================================================================
Although the Specifications do not clearly indicate whether / which limitations apply, it is common that some combinations of print size and paper type are supported for borderless and other combinations are not allowed.
Example - HP Smart - Windows - Borderless Print

If the issue persists, then please follow the steps mentioned in this document:
Let's perform a power drain:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove the USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till the warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle
