Hi @Vinay567,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I understand that your HP printer power light is blinking and the printer automatically turns off after about one minute.

This behavior is commonly caused by a temporary firmware issue, a paper jam or carriage obstruction, an ink system error, or a power-related problem. Please try the following steps:

1. Perform a Hard Power Reset

A power reset clears temporary hardware and firmware errors.

  1. Turn on the printer.

  2. While it is powered on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and the wall outlet.

  3. Wait for 60 seconds.

  4. Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet (avoid surge protectors or extension cords).

  5. Reconnect the cable to the printer and turn it on.

2. Check for Hardware Issues:

Inspect the printer for any conditions that may trigger an automatic shutdown.

  • Paper jams: Open the access door and remove any jammed or torn paper.

  • Ink cartridges/printhead: Ensure they are installed correctly and securely locked in place.

  • Power adapter (if applicable): If your printer uses an external power brick, check whether its indicator light is off or blinking, as this may indicate a faulty power supply.

Expected Outcome

If the issue was caused by a temporary error or minor obstruction, the printer should power on normally without shutting down. If the power light continues to blink and the printer still switches off, it may indicate a hardware or power supply fault.

I hope this helps. Take care and have a great day!

I'm an HP Employee.
