My printer is on all the time but most every time I go to print something, the printer goes into printer maintenance.  What is going on?  I try to print one piece of paper and each time I have to wait for a full maintenance sequence to complete?? Why?  It could do that ANYTIME but only when I start to print?  How can I change this setting?  This takes time, is noisy, and is unnecessary because it just did it the last time I needed to print something!!
