Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8210 Printer

Hi, I printed with a notebook with win 11, which automatically installs the HP Smart App through windows update as a printer driver. This triggered a firmware update. But now i can't use the printer with my Desktop PC, which still runs Windows 7. I can't upgrade my OS because I rely on some older programs for my work. So is there any way to downgrade the firmware?

I already tried the installer for the last known working firmware, but it doesnt work. Also a semi-full reset didn't help either.

 

Could someone at HP get me in touch with a staff member, as it seems there are no publicly available tools to downgrade the firmware? Thanks!
