My printer stopped working and I found that it was showing "Driver is unavailable" in Settings/Devices/Printers & Scanners. Attempted to reload driver several times both from disk and from online HP driver pack. No joy. Attempted to load Windows driver but the driver isn't compatible with my computer ("The printer driver is not compatible with a policy enabled on your computer that blocks NT 4.0 drivers").
Reading through the various online references to this I find that a recent Windows update has caused it and no-one has, as yet, discovered a workaround for it. Does anyone know of a workaround please? I'd so like to have my printer back.

It's solved. Many thanks to 'Shlomi' who answered a similar problem in "Driver problems installing ENVY5544". It worked great. Many thanks Shlomi. I gave you a thumbs up.
