Printer not printing Cyan (blue)

OfficeJet 8035e - A new replacement Cyan ink cartridge leaked and now all color printing has yellow & streaks of blue on every print job.  After good cleaning of all cartridges and holders with small link free cloth, I installed a brand-new Cyan cartridge and it there was no change. 

I called a number that I was told was the HP customer service number but i think the help I received was false. After an hour of trouble shooting with remote access the rep said the printer has a spooler & driver failure and was out of warranty.  Furthermore, I could get a replacement of the older unit or a refund.  When I choose a refund, the rep sent me an electronic form asking for banking and SS# info.  I hung up and deleted the

Not sure what to do now since he had accessed to most of my files. 

• What could be wrong with my printer & can it be fixed?
• How can I tell if my files have been tampered or copied?

You may need to clean printhead on your Officejet printer to recover color printing.
