Recently, I attempted to update my printer's firmware from version 20190819 to 20230705 by downloading the firmware from the official HP website. After completing the update, the firmware software displayed a smiley face.
However, when I attempted to print a configuration report, the printer made some motor noises but didn't proceed with the printing process. The screen indicated that it was "printing document," but it remained in this state for a long time.
After wasting half an hour making sure my computer works fine, I finally got the printer to start printing. The firmware code was successfully updated to 20230705. However, when I tried to print a configuration report again, it took an unacceptably long time at the "printing document" screen without making any progress.
I've attempted to update my computer's HP drivers and run diagnostic software, but everything appears to be functioning correctly. I also attempted to revert to the previous firmware, code 20190819, but I couldn't find any. Please help

Hi. Just tried that and my printer miraculously recovered after I hid the printer in HP smart and found the printer again.
Thank you for your help!
You said it is a driver issue, even though the problem appeared after the update of the firmware. Can you tell me what makes you think that reinstalling the printer can fix the problem?
