Hi @Anna0108,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your ENVY 6000 printer is connected to Wi-Fi and prints fine from your iPad but not from your iPhone 16 Plus, even though it worked before. Let’s go through a few steps to fix the issue.

Check Wi-Fi Connection on iPhone
Make sure your iPhone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer (not to a guest or 5 GHz-only network).
Toggle Wi-Fi off and back on in your iPhone’s Settings to refresh the connection.

Restart All Devices
Power off the printer, your iPhone, and the Wi-Fi router.
Wait 30 seconds, then power on the router first, followed by the printer and then the iPhone.
This clears temporary connection glitches.

Verify AirPrint Availability
On your iPhone, open Safari or Notes → tap Share → Print → Select Printer.
See if your ENVY 6000 appears in the printer list.

If it doesn’t appear, the issue is network discovery (AirPrint).

If it does appear but won’t print, the issue is likely with permissions or settings.

Reset Printer’s Network (if needed)
On the printer’s control panel, go to Wireless → Settings → Restore Network Defaults.
Then reconnect the printer using the Wireless Setup Wizard or the HP Smart app.

Re-add the Printer in HP Smart App
Open the HP Smart app on your iPhone.
Tap + (Add Printer) → follow the prompts to reconnect it.
This often refreshes AirPrint functionality.

Update HP Smart App & iOS
Go to the App Store and check for updates to HP Smart.
Also confirm your iPhone is running the latest iOS version, as AirPrint relies on system updates.

Test with a Different App
Try printing from Safari, Mail, or Photos to see if the issue is specific to one app.
If it works in one app but not another, check that app’s permissions or printing options.

If the Printer Still Doesn’t Print
Forget the Wi-Fi network on your iPhone (Settings → Wi-Fi → (i) → Forget This Network) and reconnect.

I hope this helps.
