HP ENVY 4520 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My printer started printing in black and white only while cartilages are still half full. I uninstalled the software and reinstalled it but now not only the pages are black and white but also it's not printing on both sides. I've tried everything and it is really frustrating to fix it by myself. Any recs? My printer is ENVY 4520 and I have a Windows 10

Try the solution below, it has helped other members here.

It is possible that the driver did not detect the fact the printer has those features. On your computer, go to control panel>devices and printer and then right click on the icon for your printer and select "printer properties " from the drop down menu. Scroll down and make sure it shows duplex unit installed and under device type set to color.
