Printer stopped working over the weekend. Keeps saying "unable to render "

tried reinstalling everything , 

did a status check. Everything is connected , but still not working

Thanks for sharing your printer model! I totally get how frustrating it is when your HP Smart Tank 5100 just won’t render your print jobs, especially after trying all the usual steps.

 

Let’s try this:

 

First, power off the printer and unplug it for a full minute to clear any temporary glitches.

Next, double-check your print queue on your PC—sometimes a stuck job can block everything else. Clear the queue completely.

Also, make sure your printer’s firmware is up to date via the HP Smart app or website—it can fix bugs causing rendering errors.

If you’re printing over Wi-Fi, try connecting the printer directly via USB to see if that smooths things out.

 

Give these a shot and let me know how it feels—like the printer waking up from a nap! I’m here to help you get those pages flowing again.
