HP Smart Tank Plus 651 Wireless All-in-One
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Ever since Patch Tuesday in July my HP Smart Tank Plus 651 Wireless All-in-One has not worked in one way or the other.  I could PRINT but not SCAN.  I uninstalled the KB5015807 update and everything worked again.  The August Patch Tuesday update KB5016616 caused my scanner to not work again.  I again uninstalled that update and I could both print and scan.

Yesterday the September Patch Tuesday update #KB506688 was installed and now I cannot NOT print or scan.   Instead of removing the Update, I was told I should just uninstall my printer and reinstall it.  I went through the HP recommended process of doing this.  I uninstalled the printer and the HP Smart app.  I reinstalled the HP Smart app and the HP EasyStart app and went through the process of adding the printer and installing the HP drivers for my printer.

My printer is NOT showing up in HP Smart nor is it showing in my Device Manager.  I've gone through the processes of trying to Add a Printer but it obviously is not installing because it doesn't show up and I cannot print or scan.     The HP  Print & Scan Doctor nor the HP Support Assistant  helps me figure out the problem.

Can anyone help me figure this one out or tell me how I can get ahold of anyone (except the Virtual Assistant) at HP???

By the way, I am using a USB connection.

Thank you,
