Dell Inspiration
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

OficeJet Pro 8600   Wireless connected to home network. Printer shows connected with strong signal and solid blue light.  iPhone and pads  recognize the printer and  reliably wirelessly print documents.  ATT Smart Home Manager  recognizes printer as connected in the network and reports correct IP and SSID.  Printer set up and network are therefore fully functional

Deleted all Temp files and spooler page is empty

Reloaded  8600 software (OJ8600_1316.exe) many times and run Print and Scan doctor many times.  Print and Scan Doctor  has difficulty completing analysis but eventually reports that all fixed items are green.  However it will not print the test page.  Simply repeats the analysis process.

Control Panel/Devices show that 8600 printer is installed, is the default printer (blue tick mark)  but is off line with no box to change  it to on line.    However it is grey not solid picture indicating a problem  when sending items to the printer eventually reports "cannot find the printer"

Any suggestions?

trying to send files to printer produces a "Printer not found" response

When you uninstalled, did you try doing it through Device Manager and deleting the drivers associated for a completely clean install?
