Hi @Robbiesue,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you've recently changed your internet modem and are experiencing issues with your HP Envy 110 series printer, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem.
Check Network Connection:
- Ensure that your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
- Check the Wi-Fi signal strength on the printer to confirm a stable connection.
Restart Devices:
- Turn off both your printer and your computer.
- Unplug the power cable from your modem and wait for about 30 seconds.
- Plug the modem back in and wait for it to fully restart.
- Turn on your printer and computer.
Reconnect to Wi-Fi:
- On your printer's control panel, navigate to the wireless or network settings.
- Select your new Wi-Fi network and enter the password if prompted.
Update Printer Drivers:
- Ensure that you have the latest drivers for your HP Envy 110 series printer installed on your computer. You can download the latest drivers from the HP official website.
Check Printer Status on Computer:
- On your computer, open the Devices and Printers or Printers & Scanners settings.
- Right-click on your HP Envy 110 printer and check if it's set as the default printer.
- If it shows as offline, try setting it online.
Restart Print Spooler Service (for Windows):
- Open the Services window by pressing Win + R, typing services.msc, and hitting Enter.
- Locate "Print Spooler" in the list, right-click it, and select "Restart."
HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor, a diagnostic tool provided by HP to troubleshoot printing issues. It can automatically resolve many common problems.
Firewall and Security Software:
- Check if your firewall or antivirus software is blocking the communication between your printer and computer. Temporarily disable them to see if it resolves the issue.
Factory Reset (if necessary):
- As a last resort, you may consider performing a factory reset on your printer and then set it up again with the new internet modem. Note that this will erase any custom settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
