Hi @Mavee2,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I hear that your printer is not printing the entire document, instead it just print's a single page.
Try these steps to fix the issue:
1. Check Print Settings
- Open the Print dialog box (Ctrl + P in most apps).
- Look for Page Range and ensure it is set to "All Pages" instead of "Current Page" or "Selection".
- If using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, make sure "Print all pages" is selected.
2. Enable Continuous Printing
- Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on HP DeskJet 4255e and select Printing Preferences.
- Go to the Advanced tab and check for any options related to Page Scaling or Spooling.
- Set Print Directly to Printer instead of "Start Printing Immediately."
3. Try Printing as a PDF
- If printing from Word or another document app, save the file as a PDF first.
- Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader and try printing from there.
- Select "Print as Image" in the Advanced Print Settings if available.

4. Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click the HP printer and select Remove Device.
- Download the latest drivers from the HP support page.
- Install the drivers and restart your computer.
5. Check for Firmware Updates
- Open the HP Smart app on your PC.
- Click on Printer Settings > Printer Update and check for updates.
6. Try Using a Different Program
- If printing from Microsoft Word, try opening the document in Google Docs or Notepad and print from there.
7. Hard Reset the Printer
- Unplug the printer from power.
- Wait 2 minutes, then plug it back in.
- Try printing again.
