I recently moved and had to set up my printer. It prints fine from my desk top but won’t print from my phone. It’s asking for the printers password. I cannot remember what it is and it doesn’t say how to recover it. Any ideas on how to recover or reset it?

Remove and reinstall the printer.
Steps to remove and reinstall the printer:
Click the Windows Start button.
From the Devices and Printers menu, select a device or printer, right-click it and select Remove Device.
Once you click on this, the PC will automatically search for available printers on your network.
When the “Yes / No” pop-up question appears, click “Yes”.
Now that we have removed the device / printer, the next step is to reinstall the new printer and connect it to the existing network. (You will see further in this article).
From the Device and Printers menu, click Add Printer. When asked what type of printer you want to install, select a network, wireless or bluethoot printer as shown in the image below.
In this case, select the desired printer name.
After successfully adding the printer, the PC will ask you to print a test page. Click Finish.
A new printer device will now appear in the Devices and Printers menu. It can also be found under the Network and Connections tab. Once added, the printer will appear in both locations.

Will

I had a feeling that’s what I needed to do but it’s been a while since I had to add the printer to my iPhone. Thanks so much for the help. Greatly appreciate you taking the time to give such helpful directions.
