HP OfficeJet Pro 6978

Was having print issues.  Replace all ink cartridges and it's still printing blank pages.  I have gone through all the suggestions on HP support site but can't seem to rectify.  Any suggestions?

Hi @JLC56,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

I understand that you are facing issues with the printer printing blank pages.

Try updating the firmware. Click here

If you have performed all the steps from this document and still having issues, either the cartridges are faulty or the printer has a hardware issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

I have completed the steps you suggested and now have colour print but not black.  I tried to clean the printhead the best I could but this model does not allow me to remove for cleaning.  Could the black port be clogged up?  I have all new HP ink cartridges installed at this point.  Thank you.
