HP Envy 4520 all in one series
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello, I recently bough the HP Envy 4520 All in one series. For some reason when i send something to be printed from mobile it takes about an hour + to print but when i send something from my computer it prints almost immediatley. I have followed all steps in previous forums i.e. unplug cord/check drivers are updated/ check paper preferences. But nothing has worked. What is the problem?

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips. Thank you for posting your query. I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

Since you are able to print from your computer, this issue may be related to the communication between the printer and your mobile device.

To fix this issue, create a Manual Connection for Your Networked HP Printer and disable IPv6. Follow the steps below:

Open the embedded web server (EWS)
(NOTE: To open the embedded web server through a network:
From the printer control panel, open the wireless settings and print the network configuration page.
Find out the IP address of the printer from the network configuration page.
In a supported web browser on your computer, type the IP address.
For example, if the IP address is 192.168.0.12, type the following address into a Web browser: http://192.168.0.12.)
Click the Network or Networking tab, and then open the section or page for your network type: wired or wireless.
Click Manual IP.
If you see a Suggest a Manual IP Address button, click Manual IP address, and the Manual IP addresses are automatically filled out for you.
If your page does not have a button to suggest a manual IP address, type the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway using the numbers shown in the report you printed.
Click Apply, and then wait until the changes are confirmed.
On the Network or Networking tab, and then open Network protocol under general
Select Enable IPv4 only (or similar)
Click Apply, and then wait until the changes are confirmed.
Restart the Printer and try printing again.

To print from your mobile device use the HP Smart App : Click here
