Printer prints PDF but not word or excel docs

My HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4645 4in1 printer only prints PDF files from HP Smart. When I try and print any Word or Excel document outside HP Smart it will not print and gives a message 'Word cannot print as there is a problem with the printer setup'. This still worked fine a month or 2 ago.

Follow these steps to uninstall the HP Smart

1. Go to Windows Start  (press the Windows icon on the keyboard)

2. Scroll to HP > HP Smart

3. Right-click on HP Smart and then "Uninstall"

4. After that go to Microsoft Store again and install HP Smart.
