I have a Mac operating system Mac OS Big Sur 11.01
Until now I have been able to use my HP Printer and another additional Cannon printer without a problem. They both show in the printer and scanner list, using AirPrint. (Deskjet 2600 series Airprint). Both don't function at present. The Cannon only prints website addresses that are part of a page also containing 'normal' black and white text. The ink levels in the Cannon are okay. The ink levels in the HP are low, but the indicator doesn't change if I insert new cartridges (HP cartridges).
There seems to be a fundamental problem between the computer and the printers? Has anyone a suggestion, please. I'm 78 and getting help from a technician in a local shop is difficult in times of Covid 19!! As far as I know, I have not changed anything in Mac OS, although the update to Big Sur 11.01 isn't very old. Could it have something to do with that?
