Only a recent issue where instead of simply printing, the screen flashed with 'load paper in tray 1.' I then click OK and it uses available paper and prints fine. Is there anyway to get rid of this? It is very tedious having to manually okay everything I print.

This message will occur for a couple of reasons. One is that you have sent a duplex job and have either left the paper type setting on the tray as ANY or a paper type that is not supported by the duplexer.
You need to ensure that the paper type settings on the printer match the paper type that is loaded and the paper type the print job wants to print on.
